Privacy Policy — FekirTech Cashier

FekirTech Cashier (“the App”) is a point-of-sale application operated by FekirTech (“we”, “us”).
The App is intended for FekirTech restaurant customers in Saudi Arabia and connects to their existing FekirTech backend account.
1. Data we collect
The App itself does not create public user profiles. It interacts with your existing restaurant account.
Depending on how your restaurant account is set up, we may process:
- Account credentials: username and password for restaurant staff login.
- Restaurant information: restaurant name, branch, device ID, and configuration for printers.
- Order data: items sold, quantities, prices, discounts, payment method and related invoice details.
- Technical data: IP address, device type (e.g. “main cashier”, “sub-cashier”), basic logs and error reports generated by the backend for security and troubleshooting.
- Notification tokens: device push-notification token so that we can send operational messages via Apple Push Notification service (APNs).
2. How we use data
We use the data described above only for:
- Authenticating staff and allowing access to the POS.
- Processing and recording restaurant orders and invoices.
- Printing receipts on LAN / Wi-Fi printers inside the branch.
- Displaying reports such as shift summaries and sales statistics to authorized staff.
- Sending operational notifications (for example, system alerts or account notices).
- Maintaining the security and reliability of the system (logs, debugging and abuse prevention).
3. Data sharing
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We may use trusted service providers (for example, hosting providers, email gateways, and payment or tax integration services) who process data on our behalf and under our instructions.
- We may disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Permissions and device access
The App is designed to be minimal in permissions:
- Network access: required to reach your FekirTech backend and LAN/Wi-Fi receipt printers (typically on port 9100).
- Notifications: optional permission to receive push notifications. You can disable this in iOS settings at any time.
- The App does not request access to your photos, camera, microphone, contacts, calendars or GPS location.
5. Data retention
- Order and invoice data are kept as long as required for your restaurant’s business needs and any legal or tax obligations in your jurisdiction.
- Technical logs are retained for a limited time and then deleted or anonymized, unless we need them longer for security or legal reasons.
6. Children’s data
The App is a business tool for restaurants and is not directed to children or individual consumers.
7. Your choices
- Restaurant owners can contact us to correct or update account information.
- If you are staff using the App and have questions about what is stored, please contact your restaurant manager first; they may then contact us if needed.
- You may disable notifications at any time in the iOS system settings.
